I actually think Daisai's post is really good because it brings up how I suspect a lot of people feel about nullsec pvp and pvp in general. I think a lot of players feel that you either blob people, beat others by having a lot of SP and expensive stuff or have it done to you.

I think this is a misguided view and a lot of people enjoy the game by soloing or pvping in small enough groups such that every gang member matters to the outcome of an engagement. As well as doing it in cheap ships. For the people that play like this we think it's the most fun you can have playing eve. Hopefully we can bring this side of the game more into the spotlight with our new project.

This video is more of a showcase of really hi-end stuff and I think that can be off putting for a lot of people because they see this and it isn't accessible for them.

I personally enjoy videos like the recent Perseverance release and G7 more than the hi-end stuff like G8, G9 and Fon's latest even though the latter are techinically much better. Videos like Perseverance are more accessible and we can more easily see ourselves in the same ships and situations. At the same time though I can appreciate the hi-end stuff for what it is.

I think for people like Garmon they've already done the t1 cruisers, bcs and frigates and have become more interested in how far they can push the odds with a single combat ship. And this is what you see here.
